The Ranch

In the truest sense of the word, we are a micro ranch. Nothing is mass produced, All of our critters are humanely and ethically raised on green pastures in the fresh country air and Texas sunshine. We do our best to avoid growth hormones, pesticides, and GMOs. We strive to be as natural and organic as possible.

Green Eggs & Ham

Piggies are a seasonal part of the ranch, arriving when the goat milk is plentiful and leaving when they weigh 250-300 pounds. Milk fed pork is delicious!

There are approximately 100 laying chickens at the ranch. Chickens free range during the day and are kept in the coop at night. We fed an organic feed as well as clabber.

Visit our "Green Eggs & Ham" page for more information on purchasing eggs and pork.

Dr. D's Honey & Bees

Picture
We currently maintain three hives of bees that produce some of the tastiest honey in Texas! Additional hives will be added in Spring 2021. We are experimenting with different colonies/ environments and hope to have wildflower, rose, and clover varieties in the near future. Next harvest is summer 2021.

When available, honey can be ordered from our "Honey" page.
