Camp out at Fort Worth stock show barns. Lights stayed on ALL night, our goat hollered all night, and Jeff did not sleep one bit.

A piece of WTC 9-11 in Fort Worth

This is "N-101", a beam from the World Trade Center North Tower on display at the Fort Worth Museum of Science. Hard to believe neither of my children were born in 2001, they have no memory of this significant event.

Comprised of three steel columns, three stories high, bolted together, the artifact weighs approximately 8,000 pounds and measures 36 feet high by 6 feet wide by 3 feet thick.  It is one of the few recovered pieces the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has been able to trace to its exact location within the tower.  Officially known as WTC 1, Column 133, floors 100-103 NIST Steel # N-101, Impact Steel by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, it is now simply referred to as N-101.

First we drove the tractor combine simulator, but quickly moved to the Corvette Stingray. I think she looks great in it, but we don't have a place for hay bales!

This is the telescope Mackenzie and I made in 2008-2009 at the Fort Worth Museum.

It's a homemade job with most of the materials from around the house. The tube is a concrete footer tube, we just never painted it!

Cambrie got a good look at the moon and Mackenzie managed to take some great photos with it.

What's your moonshot for 2015? Go farther, go faster, achieve more, save more, give more, reach a personal best, make a difference in lives, make the better best?

Cambrie was not feeling well the first day of 2015. She found our wedding album and started going through the pictures. I took this picture of her sleeping on the couch next to the cover.
