I absolutely love fall! It could be my favorite time of the year. The girls and I have been spending a lot of time outside, soaking up the cooler (but not cold) weather. I think being outside is good for the soul. The extra vitamin D (courtesy of the sun) is an added bonus. :)

We have been participating in a homeschool coop this past semester. Cambrie has especially enjoyed it. I volunteered to coordinate an additional site for next semester. We shall see how it goes...

Cambrie has been into the letter c for some time. She recognizes "c" in almost all print. Anytime she sees "C" she thinks it spells Cambrie. :) Today, she tried to write her name on her paper from coop. I am very impressed! I haven't worked on her name with her a lot- but I am going to start now, I also think she colors pretty good too for a three year old. :) I am the biased momma though,

Mackenzie is taking a water color class at coop, She is particular about her art. During her first class, the teacher made the comment that art shouldn't be realistic (Mackenzie really tries and wants to draw realistic) so that didn't go over well. But the teacher had a shirt with a neat design on it, so Mackenzie thought then she might be ok. Then the teacher said art couldn't be wrong and encouraged the students to be creative (sounded good). For the assignment, she told the students to paint using a couple of shapes (I can't remember which shapes) and then ranked the students work. Well, Mackenzie was ranked last because she didn't follow directions- she used other shapes. This really irked the Roo because a) the teacher said to be creative b) the teacher said art couldn't be wrong c) she used the assigned shapes to make other shapes. I have to agree with Mackenzie on this one (I know, again, the biased momma). Mackenzie was respectful to her though and I appreciate that. I try to let art be her "thing" and not interfere or critique her work.

Both girls are really enjoying soccer. I have more pictures to sort- I will post them later,

Here are a few I took tonight-
