Jeff finished his 40+ paper for his last class- wu-hu! This was his last paper for his last class of the program. Now he *just* has to write his dissertation paper and he'll be Dr. Jeff Daniels. We are so proud! :)
We are cleaning up outside and trying to finish a few outside projects before Thanksgiving (replace gate, fix tractor, haul off junk pile, and weed eat). After Turkey Day, we will repair the hot wire and loafing shed (the goats ate one wall off) and do paint touch ups. Hopefully the temperatures outside will be cool but not too cold.

I decided to sell the little chicken coop. I put it on craiglist.

We went to look at a potential *boy* goat for our girls. His name is Elvis. He really does look like Elvis. He has this tuff of black curly hair on top of his head. Mackenzie likes him. I like him. I think our girl goats will like him. We will see :)

I am coming out of building retirement! Here is my next project-

I *think* I already have the wood I need to make it. :) Of course, I hope mine turns out even prettier and I hope I don't have to build 12 of them before I get it right. Wish me luck! :)

Here is a short lil turkey song to get you in the Thanksgiving mood...

Happy Monday! No soccer this weekend due to rain. We stayed home  most of the weekend and cleaned up. The washing machine ran almost nonstop and the tractor got fixed. Still lots more to do but there is a light at the end of tunnel. Hopefully over the next few days we will be able to knock off a lot of other items on the list.

My nice camera isn't working with my favorite lens, which really stinks. I used the small camera and got a few shots. Blurry but still worth posting...

Here is a picture of my chicken coop with the roof on it. Still needs the top painted (which is on the to do list).

This is the soccer field. This space used to be the garden. I am moving the garden to the fenced in area next to the home (behind the soccer field). We planted lots of rye seed so it is really green. I will reseed it in the spring with bermuda and hopefully irrigate it. Maybe next fall we can put up lights. "If you build it, they will come...". :) Really, it is more like, "If you built it, you can home and play soccer in your own yard instead of driving into Fort Worth...".

Check out Cambrie's new boots! :) We all had a pair except her- we couldn't find her size. Should have known, Walmart had em. Now she is in the club!

My boot compared to Cambrie's little boot

Mackenzie had her yearly doctor appointment last week. She is 45 inches tall and weighs 45 pounds. She is growing up so fast.  She still prefers to sleep in the "big bed" though. :) Last night, she came in begging to snuggle. I let her in the bed and she said, "I feel like Cambrie is the oldest and I am the baby. I don't know why I just want to sleep with you still."  I am glad she still wants too. :) BTW, Cambrie sleeps in her bed- she is afraid if she gets out her sister will get in her bed.
